YYC Rack and Pinion is a rack-and-pinion mechanism that provides linear motion and converts rotational motion into linear motion. It consists of a round gear, called the pinion, and a flat rack that meshes with the pinion. The pinion is driven by a motor, which causes the pinion to rotate and push the rack along its length.
